What we're looking for

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in Compliance in the banking-insurance sector or in consulting or auditing focused on this area, with a focus on conduct and market risks and managing teams.
Regulatory Knowledge: Local and European regulations (MIFID, IDD, Solvency II, consumer protection legislation).
Skills: Cross-functional leadership, analytical skills, effective communication, negotiation, teamwork, resilience, and a focus on objectives and digital skills
Strategic Orientation: Business vision and ability to integrate Compliance into decision-making.
Languages: Advanced level of Spanish and English.

The role

Lead advisory, supervision, and management of conduct risks in the insurance and markets sector, ensuring customer protection and regulatory compliance in a regulated and evolving environment. This role is key to ensuring the integrity, sustainability, and reputation of the company, aligning activities with local and European regulations.

High relevance of conduct risk in insurance companies and pension plan and fund management entities, with a growing regulatory focus
Enhanced supervision by regulatory bodies and coordination with the parent company (CaixaBank) and subsidiaries.
Participation

What you'll do

Conduct Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks related to client protection and market conduct.
Product Governance: Review processes for launching and modifying insurance and pension products to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.
Supervisory Liaison: Act as the point of contact with regulators and external auditors.
Methodology and Reporting: Implement second line of defense controls and ensure that a robust control environment also exists in the first line, ensure execution of the Risk Assessment and reporting in line with the corporate matrix.
Compliance Training and Culture: Drive training programmes on conduct and customer protection for the whole Company
Innovation and Digitalization: Participate in automation and advanced analytics projects applied to Compliance.
