Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Law and Master's for access to the legal profession (MUA); a Master's or postgraduate degree in Compliance will be highly valued.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably in a law firm or consultancy. (It is essential to have worked in a firm/consultancy for a certain period of time).
Native level of Catalan and Spanish (essential) and B2 English.
Previous experience as a commercial lawyer or litigator is valuable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and macros).
Key competencies: autonomy, leadership, critical thinking, proactivity, agility, and results orientation.

What you'll get

Permanent contract and stable position.
Competitive remuneration: €35,000 – €45,000 gross/year (up to €50,000 gross/year for top profiles).
Schedule: 9:00–14:00 and 15:00–18:00 (Fridays from 9:00 to 14:00).

Our client, a leading law firm specializing in the field of regulatory compliance, is looking to hire a Senior Compliance Consultant to strengthen its team in Barcelona.

This is an excellent opportunity to assume autonomy, lead projects, and evolve towards coordinating a team within a firm with great prospects.

What you'll do

Independently manage projects and clients regarding criminal, social-labor, tax, competition, and transnational compliance.
Advise on the creation, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs.
Perform consultancies and audits under ISO and UNE standards (37301, 37001, 19601, 19602, among others).
Design and implement internal policies, ethical codes, and internal regulations.
Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and prepare technical documentation.
Provide training to clients and attend compliance committees.
Manage a medium-term client portfolio, with a consultative approach and close personal service.
