About the role

From the Investments Management team at the Barcelona offices, we want to bring on board an Investment Manager with experience in insurance company and/or bank balance sheet portfolios.

We are looking for profiles with experience in financial markets. Experience in programming, database management and knowledge of investment software is highly valued.

What you'll do

What will your purpose be within VidaCaixa?

Your main mission will be to manage the insurer's investment portfolios and collaborate with the different units of the Investment Management division.

Analysis, proposal, execution and monitoring of market transactions.

Management of the investment portfolio, considering profitability and risk factors, accounting factors, capital consumption and coverage of the company's liabilities.

Coordination with different areas of the company and the Group (CaixaBank, BPI VP).

Participation in cross-functional projects to evolve current management capabilities. Implementation of new software tools to manage investment portfolios.

Collaboration in the development of the company's new products.

You are the talent we are looking for if you have...

Senior Profile

University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering or Physics.

A Master's degree in markets, financial instruments or similar is desirable.

Must have professional experience in balance sheet management and monitoring of metrics in insurance companies or the finance departments of banks.

Minimum C1 level of English.

Knowledge of programming in R, Python, C++, etc., and database management languages (SQL) is a plus.

Knowledge of management and/or risk control tools (SimCorp, Murex, Bloomberg) is desirable.

Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives.
