The role

Viking Travel Care is seeking Danish-speaking employees for our travel insurance emergency center in Spain.

With us, you will help Nordic travelers all over the world when they experience illness, accidents, or other unforeseen events during their travels. You will become an important support for customers who need security, information, and practical help.

This could be an exciting opportunity for you if you already live in Spain, or if you are considering moving south.

What you'll do

As an assistance coordinator, you are often the first person the customer speaks to when something has happened.

You will, among other things:

answer telephone calls and emails
listen to the customer and understand the situation
create and follow up on cases
provide information about insurance coverage
help with contact to doctors, clinics, transport, hotels, or repatriation as needed
collaborate with insurance companies, doctors, clinics, and other partners

How you'll work

The emergency center is open 24/7, and working hours are distributed across day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Who are we looking for?

You do not need a specific education to fit in with us. The most important thing is that you like helping people, communicate well, and thrive when much is happening.

Experience from customer service, the travel industry, healthcare, insurance, hospitality, or other work with people can be relevant, but is not a requirement.

Education in, for example, languages, the travel industry, healthcare, law, insurance, or international studies can also be a good fit, but is also not a requirement.

We are looking for you who:

speak and write fluent Danish and English
are confident in telephone and written communication
are structured and precise
like finding solutions
thrive both in a team and with independent work
quickly learn new systems
are flexible and positive

Multiple languages are an advantage.

To be able to proceed in the process, you must be able to present a clean criminal record.
