Within the Viking Assistance Group, Viking Travel Care helps travelers and people working abroad around the world on behalf of travel insurance companies. As an Assistance Coordinator, you are often the first person a customer contacts after an incident. Your job is to listen, ask the right questions, and ensure that the customer receives the help they need.
In practice, your duties include, among other things:
· assessing the customer's situation and gathering the necessary information
· answering questions regarding insurance coverage
· creating a case in our system
· directing the customer to a doctor or clinic
· booking flights and accommodation if necessary
· cooperating with insurance companies and service partners
Most important is good customer service and ensuring that the customer feels they are in good hands. In this role, no two days are the same, and you must be able to juggle many tasks at once.
