About the role

Acciona, in its Infrastructure Maintenance business line, needs to hire an Operations Manager for the A2 Highway Maintenance Center, Torija, Guadalajara.

Position Description

Mission

Handle road operation files in all their phases. From registration, field data collection, assessment against current legislation and issuance of the mandatory report, to implementation or monitoring of the authorization and verification of compliance.

Also collaborate and support the projects carried out by their unit/department, in accordance with the guidelines given by their supervisor, in order to carry out the tasks delegated to them to meet the project's needs.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

 -            Registration of operation files.

-             Field data collection.

-             Report writing.

-             Coordination of business activities.

-             Supervision of road works.

-             Collaboration with the Coex Manager and the site supervisor in the organization and management of the contract.

-             Prepare to temporarily replace, if necessary, the Coex Manager role and its duties.

-             Management of documentation and status of accidents and claims.

-             Accident assessments and attendance at trials as an expert witness.

-             Maintenance and management of the inventory program and condition inspections.

-             Review compliance with internal policies and procedures regarding Quality, Environment, Occupational Risk Prevention, Road Safety and current legislation.

-             Office support with computer applications and AutoCAD drafting.

-             Performing on-call shifts to attend to accidents/incidents of special relevance.

-             Collaboration with winter road maintenance.

What we're looking for

•            Education: Civil Engineering or a master's degree in Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports).

•            Experience: minimum 1 year

•            People management skills.

•            Negotiation skills.

•            B1 driver's license
