Operations Manager – Campervan Rental

• Between 6 and 8 years of experience in operations, logistics, vehicle rental, hospitality, retail, or customer-oriented environments;
• Experience in team coordination and daily operations;
• Strong operational capacity and a hands-on orientation, with a willingness to get directly involved in center activities;
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously;
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and distribute tasks within a small team;
• Ability to work autonomously and make operational decisions on a day-to-day basis;
• Customer orientation and excellent communication skills;
• Ability to perform physical tasks and move light to moderate weight objects (10-15 kg);
• Availability to stand, walk, and move around the center for prolonged periods;
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors and in different weather conditions;
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during high-demand periods, responding to urgent operational needs;
• Availability to work longer shifts during the high season when necessary to ensure operational continuity;
• Mandatory Category B driver's license;
• Mandatory English;
• Spanish will be considered a plus.

The Operations Manager plays a key role in developing this mission at a local level, ensuring efficient rental operations, smooth service coordination, and a consistent, customer-centric experience.

As the person responsible for center operations, you will be in charge of driving operational excellence, team performance, and the overall customer experience, acting as the link between Indie Campers' global standards and their local execution.

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of a small-scale center, personally executing and coordinating different processes due to the team size and the absence of specialized Service, RV Sales, and Support units.

• Execute and coordinate all processes related to rental: check-in, check-out, documentation, and system updates, including cleaning and maintenance tasks;
• Supervise and monitor daily operational KPIs;
• Promote additional products and services through sales oriented toward customer needs and value;
• Perform basic checks on motorhomes and campers, including battery, water systems, gas, lights, and tires;
• Quickly escalate any complex technical or mechanical issues to the regional service teams;
• Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of the fleet and its availability in the operating systems;
• Coordinate daily shifts, priorities, and task distribution within the team;
• Train and support new team members, including the explanation and demonstration of standard operating procedures (SOPs);
• Supervise the preparation and presentation of motorhomes for sales appointments;
• Ensure compliance with Indie Campers' operating procedures and quality standards;
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to a more efficient operation;
• Control the use of materials and consumables, minimizing unnecessary costs and avoiding rework;
• Ensure the operational continuity of the center during high-demand periods.

This is a 70-80% operational and hands-on position, in which it will be necessary to get directly involved in daily activities to ensure an efficient workflow, excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and correct fleet availability.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will report to the District Manager and will be responsible for the center's cost control, ensuring efficient use of consumables, avoiding unnecessary expenses, minimizing rework, and ensuring disciplined management of operational resources.
