Product Development Analyst

We are looking for someone with an interest in the development of insurance products, analytical skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, we expect you to bring:

• A university degree, preferably in Actuarial Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Business Studies, or a related field.

• Approximately 2 years of experience in insurance companies, especially in technical areas, product development, or solution implementation.

• Experience in configuring insurance products and executing functional tests related to new implementations or modifications of existing products.

• Knowledge and experience with insurance management platforms and product workshops.

• Valuable experience with SISnet, especially in product workshops, mini-workshops, and the SISnet Studio tool.

• Valuable specific training in SISnet version 8 or higher.

• Advanced level of Excel.

• Valuable advanced level of English.

At Aegon, we are looking to hire a Product Development Analyst to join the team responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of our insurance products.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Participate in the development and implementation of insurance products within the company's systems, configuring technical-actuarial and functional parameters.

• Collaborate on product migration projects between platforms, analyzing product characteristics and defining the most appropriate solution in each case.

• Review functional documentation, design and execute test plans, especially those related to premiums, receipts, and reserves.

• Contribute to the design and evolution of Life, Health, Accident, Home, and Funeral products.

• Prepare product documentation and contractual materials, and provide support to Marketing in creating commercial scripts and sales materials.

• Ensure the quality and consistency of implemented solutions through functional testing and validations.
