At Aldesa, every day is an opportunity to learn, innovate and take on new challenges. We are looking for a Quality Manager for a biodiesel plant construction project that we are currently developing in Huelva.

What you'll do

📋 Your responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive coordination and supervision: Lead the implementation of the Quality Assurance and Control Plan (QA/QC) on-site for all disciplines (Civil Works, Steel Structures, Static/Rotating Equipment, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation).

  • Inspection and Testing Management (ITP): Prepare, review, and supervise compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for the various contractors and subcontractors in the field.

  • Documentation Control and Quality Dossier: Management of the on-site quality document flow, control of material certificates, traceability, and progressive compilation of the As-Built and the Final Quality Dossier (Data Book).

  • Non-Conformance Management (NC): Detect, record, and follow up on Non-Conformances and corrective/preventive actions on-site until their final closure.

  • Audits and Contractor Supervision: Conduct continuous field inspections and periodic audits of contractor companies to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable regulations.

  • Multidisciplinary coordination: Direct interface with Construction Management, HSE, and the client to ensure resolution of technical deviations on site and project fluidity.

What we're looking for

🎯 Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Industrial, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree, is valued.

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in quality control/assurance on-site in large-scale industrial projects (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy or Biofuels).

  • Regulatory knowledge: Extensive experience with international construction and inspection standards (ASME, API, ISO 9001, Eurocodes, CE Marking, and local building/installation regulations).

  • Inspection management: Proven experience in managing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), concrete/geotechnical testing, and pressure/leak testing.

  • Personal skills: Strong communication skills, negotiation skills with contractors, field leadership, and analytical rigor for in situ problem-solving.
