Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
  • Experience in operational data analysis and KPI definition.
  • Experience in continuous improvement or logistics optimization projects.
  • Experience in transportation planning, capacity, or logistics operations.
  • Experience in industrial environments or the automotive sector will be valued.

The role

We are looking for a Transportation Optimization Analyst (M/F) to join an important project within the automotive sector.

The selected candidate will be part of a team focused on transportation optimization and continuous improvement of the logistics chain, analyzing operational data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and defining strategies to maximize the efficiency of the transportation network.

What you'll do

  • Analyze transportation flows to identify optimization and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Maximize truck utilization and improve load density.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics and transportation KPIs.
  • Evaluate transportation scenarios to improve the operational efficiency of the logistics network.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing logistics costs, time, and resources.
  • Analyze transportation capacity and its impact on warehousing and production.
  • Collaborate with logistics providers, carriers, and different internal departments to ensure the correct execution of operations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Participate in process improvement projects within the Supply Chain and Transportation area.
  • Track KPIs related to transportation, utilization, costs, and service levels.
