What you'll do

The duties to be performed will be as follows:

  • Handle all reservations received via email, fax, or phone to manage vessel capacity and process bookings, followed by invoicing and payment collection.
  • Maintain a per-vessel control system using internal procedures to prevent overbooking and ensure proper customer service.
  • Handle inquiries regarding reservations for special cargo measurements or dangerous goods to ensure proper control and stowage on vessels, as well as reservations from customers boarding at other locations.
  • Review daily invoiced reservations to verify that data has been correctly entered into the system, preventing billing errors.
  • Close out the system once vessels have departed to ensure accurate recording of essential business information.

  • Report any incidents occurring during embarkation and/or disembarkation and communicate them by email to the Cargo Supervisor.
