At ArcelorMittal Sestao we are looking for a Process Automation Engineer. We are looking for a person with an industrial vision and technological orientation who contributes to developing, maintaining, and evolving the automation systems that support the plant's production processes.

The main mission of this position is to develop, implement, maintain, and optimize Level 2 industrial automation applications and systems, guaranteeing their availability, reliability, security, and technological evolution, participating in continuous improvement, digitalization, and IT/OT integration initiatives, providing solutions that generate value for operations.

What you'll do

  • Analyze, design, develop, and implement process automation and control applications and models.
  • Maintain and evolve existing applications, incorporating new functionalities and improvements.
  • Administer Level 2 systems, servers, operation stations, databases, and backups.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical incidents, coordinating actions with users, internal teams, and suppliers.
  • Analyze industrial processes and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Obtain, integrate, and analyze industrial data, preparing indicators, reports, and decision-support tools.
  • Participate in integrations between automation systems, production, and corporate platforms.
  • Evaluate and apply new technologies in digitalization, advanced automation, and industrial decarbonization projects.
  • Apply corporate standards for cybersecurity, quality, documentation, and risk prevention.

What we're looking for
