The role

ArcelorMittal Sestao is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its Sestao plant. The role will involve leading the maintenance area of the Rolling Mill.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

Lead productive maintenance and general facility maintenance in the Rolling Mill area, ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and good condition in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Manage and develop the maintenance team, promoting their integration, motivation, training, communication, professional development, and performance within a culture of prevention and continuous improvement.
Coordinate departmental activities and collaboration with other areas, participating in the implementation of new projects, contributing their vision in work forums, and promoting the exchange of relevant information.
Ensure compliance with quality management systems, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, procedure maintenance, and continuous process improvement.
Plan and coordinate annual preventive maintenance shutdowns, defining resources, priorities, schedules, materials, equipment, and activities necessary for their proper execution.
Lead health and safety management within their scope of responsibility, promoting a proactive safety culture, identifying and eliminating risks, supervising both in-house and contractor activities, ensuring compliance with procedures, and guaranteeing safe working conditions.
