The role
🔎 We are opening a position as Technical Architect for our workplace in Dénia, and we want you to be part of our team!
What you'll do
The selected candidate will be responsible for comprehensively managing the material and economic execution of renovations and construction works, from preparing the contracting process to handover, final documentation, and warranties.
- Planning and execution: Plan and monitor works, milestones, supplies, and actions.
- Measurements and budgets: Prepare measurements, budgets, comparisons, and control economic deviations.
- Tendering and contracting: Prepare the necessary documentation for requesting bids and tenders, as well as monitor the contracting process.
- Coordination: Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other teams involved in projects.
- Economic control: Supervise costs, certifications, deviations, and extra or contradictory work.
- Site monitoring: Conduct visits, meetings, and follow-up on execution, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and defined standards.
- Project closeout: Manage handover, punch lists, final documentation, as-built drawings, and warranties.
- Maintenance and renovations: Coordinate specific actions and renovations on operational assets.
- Comprehensive management: Provide a Project Manager perspective on behalf of the owner, relieving the team of daily management and ensuring proper project execution.
Requirements
- Technical Architecture, Degree in Building Engineering, or similar education.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in execution, management, and coordination of construction works.
- Experience in managing and directing construction execution, especially in renovations, offices, retail, corporate buildings, industrial facilities, or operational assets.
- High level of planning and economic control, including measurements, budgets, comparisons, certifications, and deviations.
- Experience in tendering and contracting of works and services.
- Ability to coordinate teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, as well as negotiate and resolve potential disputes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, advanced Excel, and construction budgeting and planning tools.
- Availability to travel and conduct site visits.
- English, valued.
