Within the Finance area, our Global Procurement unit is an exciting team with a strong global spirit and the capacity for transversal impact throughout the Bank. We are the catalyst and link to the entire ecosystem of partners and suppliers that BBVA requires to develop its business.

From our function, we work to contribute to BBVA's efficiency by negotiating the best market conditions, ensuring that procurement processes are executed in a context of equal opportunity, in full compliance with legality, and always seeking to offer the best experience to our internal clients.

We are looking for a person to join us as a Procurement Analyst in the Procurement Operation & Strategic Sourcing team. You will integrate into a horizontal pool structure based on projects, where you will have the opportunity to tackle both local and global challenges. This model will allow you to ensure a transversal vision across all procurement categories (Technology, Infrastructure, Business Services, Communication, etc.) and will facilitate your professional development within the function.

As an Analyst, you will support senior buyers in executing negotiation and management processes:

• Relationship with user areas: You will collaborate directly with internal teams to understand their needs, analyze purchase volumes, and acquisition prices.
• Execution of negotiation and tenders: You will prepare the list of participating suppliers, draft tender specifications, and establish selection criteria.
• Cost analysis: You will perform offer evaluations, ranging from simple comparative analyses to complex sensitivity models (TCO / TVO).
• Procurement management: You will process offers, calculate generated savings, and prepare the documentation for the Award Proposal before the Contracting Commission.
• Contracting and Regulations: You will apply the Group's Acquisition of goods and services Standard and ensure compliance with the contract signing workflow.
• Market sourcing: You will participate in the search for suppliers and in the control of supplier risk according to the area's strategy.
• Contractual knowledge: Knowledge of contracts.
