We are looking for a Materials Coordinator to join our team in Tarragona for a long-term project within the petrochemical sector. The selected candidate will join the plant shutdown team, being responsible for the coordination of materials, technical procurement, and supply tracking, ensuring the availability of necessary resources for maintenance activities and plant work execution. Initial duration until December 2026 with the possibility of long-term continuity until December 2029.

• Management of requests for quotation (RFQs) for materials, tools, utensils, and equipment.
• Creation and tracking of purchase requisitions using SAP.
• Coordination of supply and availability of materials for maintenance activities and plant shutdowns.
• Tracking of orders, deliveries, and supply lead times, ensuring compliance with required deadlines.
• Coordination with the warehouse for proper management of stock and non-stock materials.
• Control and management of surplus materials, returns, and repairs of recoverable equipment.
• Resolution and follow-up of incidents related to materials, purchases, and supplies.
• Acting as the point of contact between suppliers, the warehouse, and maintenance teams for all matters related to materials and services.
• Updating and monitoring information in the corresponding management systems.
• Support for urgent operational, maintenance, project, and industrial emergency needs.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials coordination, procurement, technical purchasing, industrial warehousing, or similar positions.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, projects, or plant shutdown environments, with experience in the petrochemical, chemical, or energy sector being highly valued.
• Knowledge and experience in using SAP for requisition management and purchase order tracking.
• Experience in inventory management and coordination with industrial warehouses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Ability to work with technical documentation in English.
• Intermediate level of English (B2).
• Organized, proactive, results-oriented profile with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different departments and suppliers.
• Proactivity, commitment, and a strong focus on safety in the industrial environment.
