What we're looking for

Experience of between 2 and 4 years as a Data Engineer or in similar positions.
C1 English level with the ability to operate in an international environment.
Solid experience working with Databricks.
Advanced level of SQL.
Experience developing solutions with Python.
Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines.
Knowledge of data modeling and processing of large volumes of information.
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to expand one of our teams in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

You will join a recently created international team, specialized in data and analytics, providing support to different business areas. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, participating in strategic initiatives related to the construction and evolution of scalable data platforms.

What you'll do

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines.
You will work with Databricks, SQL, and Python for data ingestion, transformation, and exploitation.
You will develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to integrate information from multiple sources.
You will implement and improve Data Quality controls, guaranteeing the consistency, availability, and reliability of the data.
You will create and maintain business metrics and indicators aligned with stakeholder needs.
You will collaborate with analytics and business teams to convert functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
You will identify and resolve incidents related to data quality, traceability, and availability.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform and data engineering processes.
You will participate in initiatives related to the processing and management of large volumes of information.

How you'll work

You will have a permanent contract and flexible hours
You will be able to work in a hybrid model. You will work 3 days a week at the Sant Cugat del Vallès office. You can telecommute the rest of the days.
You will have a PC and the necessary peripherals for your work.
You will work in an international environment.
