Description

In our Substation Engineering division, we get involved in a wide variety of pioneering projects, working with the most innovative clients in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Works sectors.

We are looking for a package purchasing engineer for budget and cost management.

Selection of potential equipment suppliers, construction companies, installation companies, and service providers.
Creating shortlists of the best companies for brownfield and greenfield project development.
Contract monitoring, Change Order management, and economic control of all contractors, suppliers, and service companies linked to the project.

Requirements

University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.) or similar.
Demonstrable minimum experience of 10 years in purchasing, procurement, and/or contracting roles, preferably in
Deep knowledge of procurement processes in large-scale projects, especially in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Engineering sectors.
Solid experience in the management and negotiation of contracts with international suppliers and subcontractors.
Proficiency in procurement management and planning tools (ERP, tender management systems, etc.).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Analytical capacity and budget and cost management skills.
Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented.
Advanced English level (B2/C1 minimum) will be valued.
