Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
8 to 15 years of experience in process engineering for industrial plants, preferably in the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or oil treatment sectors.
Demonstrable experience in FEED and/or detailed engineering projects.
Proficiency in PFD, P&ID, mass and energy balances, process specifications, and equipment sizing.
Knowledge of international regulations and standards applicable to industrial facilities.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
English B1-B2, with the ability to interpret and prepare technical documentation.
OWN VEHICLE REQUIRED

Nice to have

Valuable requirements

Previous experience in Repsol projects.
Participation in Greenfield projects involving refineries, biofuels, recycling, or used oil recovery.
Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or other process simulation tools.
Experience in HAZOP studies and process safety.
Knowledge of oil treatment technologies and renewable fuels.

The role

In our Facilities Engineering division, we get involved in a wide variety of cutting-edge projects, collaborating with the most innovative clients in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Works sectors.

We are looking for a Process Engineer with experience in Oil&Gas, petrochemical, or oil treatment projects to expand one of our teams in Cartagena, Murcia.

What you'll do

Process engineering in industrial process plants. FEED and Detailed Engineering experience.
Development of mass and energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, process specifications, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Preliminary detailed engineering.
Development of process engineering for new treatment, transformation, and recovery units for used oils.
Participation in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases, ensuring compliance with technical criteria and project design bases.
Preparation and review of mass and energy balances, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and utility diagrams.
Development of process calculations, preliminary equipment sizing, and definition of operating conditions.
Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications for process equipment, including pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, and other associated equipment.
Preparation and review of equipment, line, instrument, and utility consumption lists.
Definition of design conditions, operating parameters, and safety requirements for process units.
Participation in HAZID and HAZOP studies and process safety reviews, following up on resulting actions.
Technical coordination with piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines.
Review of technical documentation from suppliers and support in technical bid evaluations.
Identification and resolution of technical interferences between process units and auxiliary systems.
Technical quality assurance of deliverables and compliance with applicable standards.

How you'll work

PROJECT: 12-14 MONTHS (possibility of relocation to other projects upon completion)
