Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
8 to 15 years of experience in process engineering for industrial plants, preferably in the oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, or oil treatment sectors.
Demonstrable experience in FEED and/or detail engineering projects.
Proficiency in PFD, P&ID, mass and energy balances, process specifications, and equipment sizing.
Knowledge of international regulations and standards applicable to industrial facilities.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
English B1-B2, with the ability to interpret and prepare technical documentation.
OWN VEHICLE REQUIRED

Nice to have

Valuable requirements

Previous experience in Repsol projects.
Participation in Greenfield projects involving refineries, biofuels, recycling, or used oil recovery.
Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or other process simulation tools.
Experience in HAZOP studies and process safety.
Knowledge of technologies for the treatment of oils and renewable fuels.

The role

In our Facilities Engineering division, we get involved in a wide variety of cutting-edge projects, collaborating with the most innovative clients in the Petrochemical, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food, Construction, and Civil Works sectors.

We are looking for a Process Engineer with experience in the utilities area for Oil&Gas, petrochemical, or oil treatment projects to expand one of our teams in Cartagena, Murcia.

What you'll do

Industrial process and utilities engineering.
Design and optimization of OSBL systems, utilities, and integration with ISBL.
Preliminary detail engineering for a used oil plant.
Development of process engineering and auxiliary services for OSBL (Outside Battery Limits) facilities of a new industrial plant for the treatment and recovery of used oils.
Design, calculation, and optimization of utilities systems and industrial services necessary for the operation of ISBL units.
Definition and sizing of industrial water, cooling water, demineralized water, steam, condensate, compressed air, instrument air, and nitrogen networks, according to project requirements.
Development of utilities consumption and distribution balances, identifying operational demands and necessary capacities.
Preparation and review of PFD, P&ID, data sheets, technical specifications, and engineering documentation for auxiliary systems.
Conceptual design and definition of storage, transfer, and distribution systems for industrial fluids.
Participation in the definition of water treatment facilities, industrial effluents, and drainage systems.
Development of hydraulic calculations, pressure drops, and sizing of piping, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
Definition of interfaces between ISBL units and OSBL systems, ensuring the integration of the different plant areas.
Coordination with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil engineering for the development of auxiliary facilities.
Review of technical documentation from equipment suppliers and utilities package providers.
Participation in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and operability and maintainability analyses.

PROJECT: 12-14 MONTHS (possibility of relocation to other projects upon completion)
