Requirements

What we're looking for

Technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Drafting, or similar.
Experience of at least 2 years in a technical office or in mechanical design and product development positions.
Experience working with 3D CAD tools, especially SolidWorks.
English level sufficient to operate in technical environments.
Good command of office tools

Nice to have

Knowledge of AutoCAD will be valued.
Knowledge of document management and PLM, with experience in Vault being valued.

The role

An automotive sector company specializing in the design, manufacture, and commercialization of pneumatic and hydraulic actuators is looking to hire a mechanical designer to develop the design of parts and materials from the ground up.

Leading company in the manufacture of pneumatic and hydraulic actuators

What you'll do

Mechanical design of parts, components, and assemblies for the different equipment and solutions developed by the company.
Preparation of manufacturing drawings and technical documentation, including dimensioning, tolerances, surface finishes, and assembly details.
Development and modification of designs in coordination with the Production and R&D departments to guarantee the functionality, reliability, and quality of the products.
Generation of drawings for client approval and project technical documentation.
Definition of technical specifications for the purchase of materials and components.
Updating and maintenance of technical documentation associated with products, bills of materials, and engineering changes.
Participation in design validation and continuous improvement processes of the products.
Collaboration in compliance with quality, environmental, and good working practice standards.
