Requirements

What we're looking for

Training as a Senior Technician or Engineering degree related to Bioengineering, Electronics, or similar disciplines.
At least 2 years of experience in development, testing, or technical service of medical devices or IVD equipment.
Experience in executing tests and diagnosing technical issues.
Ability to work autonomously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience working with technical documentation.

Nice to have

Knowledge of mechatronic systems: positioning, motor control, drivers, actuators, etc.
Experience with liquid handling systems (automatic pipettes, pumps, fluids, etc.).
Programming knowledge in R&D environments: Python, C/C++, or similar.
Practical profile oriented toward experimental laboratory work.
Knowledge of BSL-2 laboratories.
Knowledge of quality systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
Familiarity with healthcare and in vitro diagnostics regulations (IVDR, FDA).

The role

Are you passionate about testing complex equipment and want to participate in the development of innovative medical technology?

At BETWEEN Technology we continue to grow and expand our team by bringing in an R&D Test & Verification Engineer to collaborate on development projects for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) instrumentation within a high-tech international environment.

You will be part of the R&D team, participating in the execution of tests, validation, and troubleshooting of medical devices under development.

What you'll do

Execute test protocols on IVD instruments under development.
Oversee the proper execution of functional tests and trials.
Perform analysis and troubleshooting of issues detected during testing phases.
Provide first-level technical support to the team when problems are identified during testing.
Collaborate on the validation of hardware and software operation of the equipment.
Design and execute experiments in the R&D laboratory.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test protocols, and test reports.
Work in accordance with defined procedures and quality standards.
