We are looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to expand one of our teams for one of our clients in Madrid in the nuclear sector.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain applications based on business requirements
  • Design and develop Agentic AI applications that automate multi-step workflows and solve real operational challenges.
  • Integrate LLMs into applications through secure and robust service layers and APIs, including orchestration, evaluation, and implementation of modern GenAI patterns such as RAG.
  • Design and implement scalable backend services in Python and REST APIs that support AI/agent capabilities and product flows.
  • Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Containerize services using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with UX/design and product teams to deliver intuitive, AI/agent-based user experiences for enterprise users.

How you'll work

-Hybrid model with up to 50% remote work.

-Flexible working hours between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM. With intensive working hours on Fridays.

-Intensive working hours from mid-June through August inclusive, and during the two weeks of Christmas.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer engineering or equivalent. Participation in research projects or a PhD in the industrial/energy sector is highly valued.
  • Advanced English level to collaborate with teams in the USA.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Development. Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Advanced English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience integrating LLMs / Generative AI into cloud-based applications.
  • Experience building Agentic AI systems that automate real workflows and integrate APIs/tools/services.
  • Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Docker/containerization and orchestration based on Kubernetes.
