The role
We are seeking a highly qualified professional in the tax field with solid expertise in international taxation to join a leading team in the legal sector. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will have the opportunity to manage high-profile client portfolios, participating in high-value-added projects that require deep technical knowledge and a global business perspective. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advisory services on direct and indirect taxes in cross-border contexts, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing the tax burden of international operations. What you'll do
- Comprehensive and ongoing tax advisory services for multinational companies and consolidated groups.
- International tax planning and design of efficient investment and divestment structures.
- Analysis and application of Double Taxation Treaties (DTTs) and European Union regulations.
- Preparation of technical reports, opinions, and consultations before the Directorate General of Taxes.
- Active participation in tax due diligence processes for M&A transactions and corporate restructurings.
- Client assistance and representation in inspection, collection, and tax management procedures before the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT).
- Continuous monitoring of international legislative changes (BEPS, ATAD directives, etc.) and analysis of their impact on the client portfolio.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- Degree in Law, Business Administration and Management (ADE), or a dual degree.
- Master's degree specializing in Tax Advisory or International Taxation from a prestigious institution.
- Demonstrable prior experience in Tax departments of professional services firms (Big Four or top-tier law firms).
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1), with the ability to draft technical reports and conduct meetings with international clients.
- Solid, up-to-date knowledge of Spanish and international tax regulations.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with advanced tax management tools and legal databases.
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects autonomously.
- Client-oriented mindset, proactivity, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
