Head of Construction, Projects and Design

From Catenon, we are looking for a Global Head of Construction, Projects & Design for our client in the Hospitality sector, responsible for leading and supervising the company's global construction, renovation, and design projects, ensuring their correct execution within established deadlines and budgets, and guaranteeing quality, operational, brand image, and sustainability standards.

The position will play a strategic role in the expansion and consolidation of the chain, especially in the luxury segment, driving process optimization, operational scalability, and excellence in international execution.

Internal relations: product design, brand, project management, operations, expansion, procurement, finance, legal, asset management.
External relations with: architecture firms, engineering firms, construction companies, external project managers, subcontractors, specialized consultants, suppliers
regulatory bodies.

Strategic direction and project execution:
Define the strategy and scope of the construction and execution area, aligned with the company's annual expansion and growth plan.
Lead and supervise global construction, renovation, and hotel repositioning projects.
Plan and coordinate project execution, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure correct project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Coordinate technical teams, construction companies, architecture firms, and external subcontractors.
Supervise execution quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases.
Manage budgets, risks, deviations, and project financial forecasting.
Prepare periodic progress and forecast reports for Management.
Manage changes in design or execution, proposing effective solutions for unforeseen events and deviations.
Ensure the correct implementation of brand, design, and customer experience standards across all assets.
Supervise projects within the luxury segment, ensuring high standards of detail and finishes.

Technical feasibility, processes, and continuous improvement:
Define and validate the technical feasibility of projects in coordination with key areas of the organization.
Collaborate closely with Design, Brand, Operations, and Expansion to ensure each project aligns with corporate strategy.
Design, implement, and optimize policies, procedures, and protocols for the construction area.
Standardize work methodologies to promote efficiency, scalability, and operational control.
Promote innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives in construction and design.
Lead, develop, and motivate internal and external multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure the correct implementation of construction processes and corporate standards globally.
Anticipate risks and deviations, proposing agile and efficient solutions.
Actively participate in the company's international growth and expansion strategy.
