Job Description:

From Catenon, we are supporting a leading EPC project contractor in the search for a Steel Structures Construction Leader with a technical profile to supervise and coordinate steel structure fabrication and assembly activities in offshore projects, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, execution schedules, and applicable safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution of steel block fabrication and assembly work according to engineering drawings and instructions.
- Coordinate and organize the work of own personnel and/or subcontractors assigned to the structures area.
- Monitor work progress, verifying performance, productivity, and schedule compliance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, as well as the company's internal procedures and regulations applicable to the offshore/marine sector.
- Control the proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in coordination meetings with engineering, planning, quality, and safety teams to resolve issues.
- Issue periodic reports on the area's progress status, needs, and issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in steel structure fabrication and assembly processes.

Requirements:
- Education as Technical Engineering / Higher Engineering in Structures, Naval, Mechanical, Civil, or similar.
- Experience supervising production in shipyards, naval construction, or offshore, preferably in steel structure projects.
- Demonstrable experience in block subdivision, fabrication, and assembly of large metal structures.
- Steel structural fabrication, assembly, and welding processes.
- Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Quality and safety regulations in naval/offshore construction.
- Technical English.
