Requirements

The role

Support the development of the lines of action for the areas that form part of the policy and campaigns and Marketing departments; in order to increase political and social advocacy capacity, strengthen the Organization's discourse, foster citizen participation and volunteering processes, and provoke changes in defense and promotion of the rights of refugees and people in need of international protection, as well as support the development of the Organization's fundraising strategy, both in global and local projects. Reporting directly to the Territorial Coordination of the Delegation and to the State Coordinations of the Advocacy, Marketing and Volunteering and Participation areas.

What you'll do

  • Promote, organize, execute and follow up on advocacy and communication, marketing and volunteering and participation actions and campaigns for the Delegation.
  • Plan and execute the annual operational plans of the involved areas.
  • Maintain a fluid relationship with the internal and external actors involved in advocacy, communication, marketing and volunteering actions and campaigns in order to ensure their proper development.
  • Participate in the formulation, execution, monitoring and justification of the projects of the areas.
  • Maintain relationships with media at local and regional levels, organize press conferences, prepare press releases and content, manage social networks, and participate in and plan area events in the Delegation.
  • Execute and provide support in the monitoring of the Organization's private fundraising plan at a local level in coordination with CEAR Central Services
  • Conduct prospecting for new relationships with companies, corporate volunteering actions and ambassadors at a local level.
  • Carry out actions for the promotion and encouragement of citizen participation through volunteering at CEAR, by means of talks and events providing information about the reality lived by refugees and the human rights situation in their countries of origin.
  • Implement and develop the integral management process for volunteers in the CEAR delegation: information, selection, onboarding, registration, custody of documentation, training, monitoring, accompaniment, motivation, communication and exit of volunteers.
  • Participate as part of the technical team in the preparation of the Annual State Volunteering Meeting on the scheduled dates
  • Monitor internship programs between the Organization and university students or educational modules, maintaining dialogue with the respective universities in their territory for this purpose
  • Manage and develop citizen mobilization activities with CEAR volunteers following the lines established by the Advocacy and Communication, Volunteering and Participation areas, together with the Activism Commission.
  • Participate actively and, where appropriate, represent CEAR in workshops, congresses, conferences, round tables, media, networks and platforms at local and regional levels.
  • Attend monitoring and coordination meetings of the delegation and the involved areas.
