The role

Carry out social intervention activities aimed at our target group within the reception facilities, in order to offer basic services (accommodation and subsistence) to the people being received, assess possible vulnerability factors, and help them acquire the necessary skills to facilitate their autonomy and integration in unforeseen emergency situations.  Reporting directly to the Emergency Facility Management in Ceuta and in coordination with the SSCC Humanitarian Care team.

What you'll do

  • Provide individual and/or group assistance to the people being received in the facility.
  • Conduct initial interviews with the people being received for the analysis of vulnerabilities and specific needs, as well as for the preparation for triage.
  • Prepare lists of people for priority care (triage, healthcare, others).
  • Prepare follow-up reports, according to the needs of the emergency intervention.
  • Ensure the good management of coexistence within the reception facilities and prepare reports regarding non-compliance with the center's rules.
  • Participate in the monitoring of reception logistics tasks (Plan, execute, and monitor the initial registration of people being received in the Emergency Facility and the assignment of beds, monitor the adequacy of bed distribution, and propose exceptional adjustments when necessary), among other tasks. 
  • Administrative management of the Program in coordination with the Emergency Facility Management.
  • Participate in and provide support to the Facility Management in the planning, contextualization, and monitoring of the TIS team in the execution of leisure activities and activities related to the daily life of the people being received. 
  • Perform social, health, family, and/or intercultural mediation intervention. 
  • Carry out the necessary procedures for prevention and/or treatment in the health field.
  • Refer to the organization's internal/external services.
  • Prepare reports, memoirs, improvement proposals, and documentation necessary for the management of the Program.
  • Assess, make proposals, manage, and monitor the justification of financial aid.
  • Register actions and necessary documentation in the databases. 
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Comply with the provisions of CEAR's Security Policy and Regulations. Participate in the planned Information Security training sessions, responsibly and proactively, incorporating what is learned into the daily performance of the job. Communicate incidents through the Information Security Incident Log established for this purpose.

Training/Knowledge

  • University degree in Social Work.
  • Professional registration.
  • Knowledge of the social resources in the territory.
  • Knowledge of languages: Arabic/Darija/French.
  • Proficiency in tools included in the Office package (Excel, Word).

Experience
