Join a strategic project in the field of advanced biofuels. We offer you the opportunity to join a strategic joint venture between Moeve and Bio-Oils, dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of advanced biofuels, in its two current plants. This alliance is leading the energy transition in southern Europe and will soon integrate the largest plant for the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel from second-generation (2G) raw materials, which will be located in Palos de la Frontera (Huelva). Your main mission will be to ensure the correct accounting and financial management of the company. In this role, you will be key to guaranteeing the reliable recording of all our operations, always ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. In addition, you will provide fundamental and highly valuable support in closing, audit, and reconciliation processes, preparing the financial reports needed to solidly back the company's strategic decisions.

What you'll do

  • Record and review financial transactions in the accounting system on a daily basis to ensure their complete accuracy.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable comprehensively, ensuring payments and collections are made within the appropriate deadlines.

  • Actively participate in bank account reconciliations and collaborate directly in monthly and annual accounting closings.

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports required for internal and external audits, public bodies, and grants.

  • Ensure strict compliance with tax and accounting regulations, both locally and internationally.

  • Provide detailed financial analyses that facilitate and improve decision-making.

  • Propose, participate in, and implement continuous improvements in the company's accounting processes and financial systems.

Who are we looking for

  • Education: Higher Vocational Training degree or specific higher university qualification in the area of Finance or directly related fields.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the accounting area.

  • Advanced level of English is essential (C1 or higher).

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and international regulations (IFRS, GAAP).

  • Proven experience using accounting software and ERP systems.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and rigorously meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong proactivity and analytical skills to identify and effectively resolve any accounting issue.
