Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Between 4 and 6 years of demonstrable experience in M&A transactions in companies such as :

  • Mid-Market M&A Boutiques or Big 4 (Transaction Services / Corporate Finance): Very solid technical profiles looking to make the leap to the end client (Corporate) to see the real impact of their operations.

  • Corporate Development areas in Scale-ups, Corporations, or Private Equity funded projects that have executed Buildup strategies (sectors of interest: sectors such as private healthcare, dental/aesthetic clinics, software/SaaS, or e-commerce aggregators).

Nice to have

  • Originator Mindset (Hunter): In a Buildup strategy, the value lies in identifying opportunities that are not formally for sale. You must be able to pick up the phone, schedule meetings with founders, and "sell them" on the Cuideo vision.

  • End-to-End Management Capability: You must have the autonomy to lead an operation from initial mapping to contract closing, supported by external advisors and internal teams.

  • Relationship and empathy skills: Many targets will be family businesses. The candidate must build trust, understand the emotional side of the seller, and not present themselves as an "aggressive fund."

  • Resilience and proactivity: In Buildup, out of every 50 companies contacted, perhaps you advance with 5 and close 1. You must tolerate pipeline frustration.

  • Business Vision (Ecosystem): You must not see only the numbers; you must perfectly understand the dependency ecosystem and the life stages of the elderly.

Education & certifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar.

  • Highly valued: Master's in Corporate Finance or CFA.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

  • Joining a technology-based company in full growth.

  • Collaborative environment and a culture oriented toward compliance and people.

  • Cuideo Benefits: Access to an exclusive package of benefits including exclusive discounts, flexible compensation, additional days off, and much more.

  • Hybrid work model.

  • Positive Social Impact: Contribute to improving the quality of life of elderly people.

The role

Do you want to be part of the Elderly Care Revolution, one of the greatest challenges we will face in the near future?

We are looking for an M&A Manager. Your mission will be to identify, analyze, and execute the acquisition of strategic companies that enrich the value proposition and the product/service ecosystem of Grupo Cuideo, accelerating the inorganic growth plan.

What you'll do

  • Market Mapping and Origination: Continuously identify and analyze target companies (care services, AgeTech, telecare, specialized products, etc.) in Spain (and international markets if applicable).

  • Financial Analysis and Valuation: Build financial models, business projections, and perform the valuation of target companies (multiples, DCF, etc.).

  • Definition of the Investment Thesis: Strategically justify why each acquisition makes sense for the Cuideo ecosystem and what synergies will be generated within Grupo Cuideo.

  • Due Diligence Coordination: Lead the audit process (financial, legal, labor, tax), coordinating both Cuideo's internal teams and external advisors.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Actively participate in the negotiation of the transaction structures (price, earnout, shareholder agreements) alongside the General Management/CFO.

  • Support for the Integration Plan (PMI): Although integration is executed by other areas, this profile must design the foundations of the integration plan to ensure that the identified synergies are met.

Hiring process

If you meet the requirements, we look forward to your application!
