What you'll do

As part of the AI & Data Transformation & Innovation Department, you will ensure the proper administration, governance, support, and evolution of the corporate Power BI platform; you will also ensure that data, reports, and analytical models are developed, published, and maintained in line with corporate standards, best practices, and security policies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Power BI platform governance and administration: Comprehensively manage the Power BI Service: workspaces, permissions, security, content publishing, and environment configuration (gateways, deployments, DevOps/Git).
  2. Regulatory compliance and standards: Ensure compliance with data policies, cybersecurity, and corporate standards, keeping the framework up to date (whitepapers, UX guidelines, audits).
  3. Content certification and quality control: Validate reports and datasets ensuring technical best practices, correct data usage, visual/UX alignment, and compliance with security requirements.
  4. Service management and support (Application Management): Act as the technical-functional reference for Power BI, resolving incidents according to SLAs and coordinating with internal teams and Microsoft when necessary.
  5. User and business support: Assist with permissions, datasets, refreshes, development, licensing, and capabilities, facilitating the efficient use of the platform.
  6. Analytical development and continuous improvement: Create prototypes, PoCs, and small developments, proposing improvements in performance, modeling, and self-service adoption.
  7. Communication, training, and adoption: Promote the dissemination of new capabilities, advocate for best practices, and train key users and development teams.
  8. Cross-functional coordination and alignment: Collaborate with projects and teams to ensure consistency in the use and evolution of the Power BI platform.
  9. Monitoring, reporting, and risk management: Execute the governance plan, monitor usage and performance, produce activity reports, and identify risks with mitigation proposals.

Education & certifications

  • Completed university degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar
  • English level: intermediate - advanced
  • Certifications will be valued:
    • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300)
    • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
    • Power BI administration and governance

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years developing job roles in Business Intelligence, Power BI administration, and user support
  • Demonstrable experience administering Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.
  • Experience in data governance, BI standards, and modeling best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of DAX, Power Query, tabular modeling, and refresh strategies-
  • Experience with DevOps, Git, and deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Azure (Data Factory, SQL, Databricks) is a plus
