The role
At ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, we are looking to hire a Deputy Director of the Fresh Meat Area (white pork, Iberian pork, beef, chicken, and turkey) with a turnover of over one billion euros, who will actively participate in the definition and execution of the fresh business strategy nationally and internationally, providing analytical vision, operational capacity, and results orientation.
What you'll do
- Participate in the definition and implementation of the commercial strategy for the fresh sections (assortment, pricing, promotions, and positioning).
- Participate in operational coordination between departments/group companies, ensuring the correct execution of defined standards while optimizing the supply chain.
- Participate in monitoring and analyzing the profit and loss account, contributing to the improvement of sales, margins, and profitability.
- Supervise and optimize product yields, driving initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Participate in the preparation, review, and control of product specifications, ensuring consistency in costs and prices.
- Contribute to compliance with quality, food safety, and traceability standards.
- Collaborate in team management and development, aligning them with the area's objectives.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive operational and commercial optimization projects.
