Requirements

What we're looking for

Spanish nationality, DNI, and continuous residence in Spain during the last 5 years (essential, as the position requires security accreditation)
Availability to work 100% on-site in Getafe
Knowledge in network operation and administration: LAN switching and VLAN (advanced level), Wireless LAN, WAN routing, and load balancing
Knowledge in Network Access Control (NAC, 802.1x), DDI/DNS/DHCP, and AAA authentication (RADIUS, TACACS+)
Experience with vendors such as Cisco (mainly), Fortigate, BlueCoat, EfficientIP, Cisco ISE, and Checkpoint

Nice to have

Certifications or official training (CCNA, CCNP, Juniper, Checkpoint, Fortigate, or others) will be valued
Experience in software-defined networking (SDN, Cisco ACI) and security technologies (firewalls, VPN, perimeter security) is desirable
Knowledge of scripting and automation (Ansible, Shell, Python) and interest in AI are desirable
Minimum English level B2

The role

At Experis, we are looking for a Junior-Mid Network and Security Technician (M/F/X) to join a strategic project for a major client in the aerospace sector, providing support to the network and security infrastructure of all its sites in Spain (more than 16,500 users). 100% on-site work in Getafe (Madrid), with rotating morning and afternoon shifts between 07:00 and 19:00, intensive working hours in summer, and 4 extra vacation days during Easter and another 4 at Christmas. The project offers vendor training (Cisco, Fortigate, Checkpoint), internal training, a very good team environment, and a professional evolution plan.

What you'll do

Basic administration of network equipment: switches, routers, and Wi-Fi
Support and operation of the security infrastructure, with a focus on firewalls, proxies, and other perimeter security elements
Execution of basic configurations, operational support, initial troubleshooting, and escalation when necessary
Development of automation scripts and study of AI tools and integrations
In the future, participation in on-call shifts and interventions once you are trained and established in the position
