Accounts Payable Specialist

• Education in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar (Higher Vocational Training or University Degree).
• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Supplier Accounting, or similar roles.
• Experience in invoice accounting, reconciliations, payment tracking, and resolving supplier incidents.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and results orientation.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.
• Good level of English for written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of financial ERPs such as M3, AS400, or equivalent systems.
• Experience working with international suppliers.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team at Fluidra's Shared Services Center (SSC), a global leader in the swimming pool and wellness sector.

The selected person will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of suppliers, ensuring the correct accounting and tracking of invoices, account reconciliation, and incident resolution, contributing to the fulfillment of payment deadlines and the quality of service offered to internal and external clients.

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from the receipt and validation of invoices to their accounting and payment.
• Review and account for supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and tax requirements.
• Perform supplier account reconciliations and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle supplier inquiries and claims, ensuring effective and service-oriented communication.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to resolve incidents related to purchase orders and invoicing.
• Participate in monthly accounting closing processes by performing reconciliations and support tasks for the finance department.
• Execute and supervise payment processes according to established schedules.
• Keep supplier information up to date and ensure data quality in the system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and standardization within the Shared Services Center.

The position will be based in the Fluidra corporate offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), within the global Finance team.
