Proficiency in the PGC and Spanish taxation.
Previous experience with NetSuite or another ERP.

What you'll do

You will be part of the Accounting area, where you will play a fundamental role in guaranteeing the correct accounting and tax management of the group's Spanish subsidiary. You will be responsible for ensuring that the accounting faithfully reflects the reality of the company and that all tax obligations are met. In this way, you will contribute to maintaining a solid financial position and to continuously improving our processes.

Accounting
- Lead monthly and annual closings, analyzing the accounting in depth to ensure its quality and detect any incidents or improvements.
- Guarantee the preparation of annual accounts and management financial statements in accordance with the PGC.
- Be the expert in the PGC, advising on complex accounting matters and new business initiatives.
- Analyze and document the accounting treatment of complex operations, justifying the applied criteria before the audit.
- Guarantee the reliability of bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Audit, governance and risks
- Coordinate the annual external audit, acting as the point of contact with the auditors and ensuring that documentation is delivered on time.
- Maintain solid internal control in all accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive financial transformation initiatives and system improvements, especially in NetSuite, to automate tasks.
Taxation
- Prepare and file VAT, IRPF, and Corporate Tax returns, together with external advisory when necessary.
- Handle requirements from the Tax Administration and monitor regulatory updates.
Coordination and collaboration
- Be the accounting and tax reference for the Spanish subsidiary, resolving queries from the various areas of the company.
- Collaborate closely with the FP&A area to ensure high-quality financial reporting.
