Requirements

What we're looking for

Residency in Málaga, Sevilla, or surrounding areas is essential.
Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Automotive, or similar.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Technician (Technical Service) or in industrial mechanical maintenance.
Solid knowledge of industrial mechanics and blueprint reading.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Driver's license.
Availability to travel from Monday to Friday.

Nice to have

Experience with industrial centrifuges or process machinery is valued.
English level is a plus.
Customer orientation, ability to work in a team, flexibility, and commitment to safety.

The GEA Olive Oil Center of Excellence, located in Úbeda (Jaén), is the only GEA Group center specialized in olive oil production applications, employing the most advanced mechanical separation technology in the sector.

We are currently looking to hire a Field Technician specialized in Industrial Mechanics, preferably residing in Málaga or Sevilla, to provide technical support to our customers in Spain.

What you'll do

Intervention at customer facilities nationwide.
Diagnosis and resolution of mechanical faults.
Disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of industrial equipment.
Technical advice on the use, maintenance, and optimization of equipment.
Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Identification of improvement opportunities in equipment and processes.
Implementation and monitoring of actions aimed at increasing operational efficiency.
Participation in modifications and optimization of extraction lines.
Preparation of technical reports on interventions and follow-up.
Compliance with GEA's quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Participation in continuous technical training and update programs.

These jobs are carried out both at our customers' facilities and at the GEA Center of Excellence in Úbeda.
