Renewable Energy Business Development Director

Must-haves for this role 🔑

• 5-7 years of experience in renewable energy, technical consulting, or advisory for international projects.

• Demonstrable experience developing business with private clients in solar, BESS, wind, and other renewable projects.

• Strong network of contacts with developers, utilities, IPPs, commercial banks, funds, and investors.

• Previous experience in TA, LTA, TDD, OE, PMC services or similar.

• Knowledge of project finance processes.

• Ability to develop business in multicultural environments and emerging markets.

• Availability for international travel.

• Professional English is essential. Other languages will be valued.

• Experience working with MDBs is a plus.

At Global Factor we are looking for a Renewable Energy Business Development Director.

• Lead the business strategy and development with private clients in international markets, with a special focus on Europe, Africa, Asia/Pacific, and Central Asia, as well as selective support in Latin America.

• Identify opportunities and generate new business relationships with:

  • IPPs, renewable developers, Utilities and off-takers, commercial Banks, investment and infrastructure Funds, Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs).

• Promote and commercialize services: carbon credit origination and certification, technical and economic feasibility studies, Transaction Advisory Services, LTA, TDD, Owner's Engineering (OE), Project Management Consultancy (PMC), and investment advisory services.

• Manage the entire business cycle, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing contracts.

• Coordinate technical and commercial proposals with the engineering and consulting teams.

• Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and meetings with strategic clients.
