Maintenance Officer

• Technical training in Maintenance, Electricity, Mechanics, Plumbing, HVAC, or related areas.

• Training in swimming pool maintenance and legionella.

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the maintenance of hotel, residential, or commercial facilities.

• Solid knowledge in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and safety regulations.

• Languages: Spanish; basic English will be valued.

Your mission as a Maintenance Technician will be to guarantee the correct functioning, conservation, and safety of all the facilities, equipment, and systems of Hotel Barrio Terreno, executing preventive and corrective tasks with efficiency, responsibility, and sensitivity to detail.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and furniture installations in the hotel.

• Attend to incidents reported by guests or departments with speed and efficacy, ensuring their resolution in accordance with Terreno quality standards.

• Collaborate with the 2nd chief and the Maintenance Manager in the execution of daily tasks, periodic maintenance, and specific projects.

• Perform routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and machinery to detect anomalies or potential risks, reporting any deviations.

• Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors, supervising that the work is executed according to the established conditions.

• Guarantee the correct use, storage, and conservation of tools, materials, and products in the area.

• Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in assigned workshops, warehouses, and technical areas.

• Strictly comply with safety regulations, the use of PPE, and occupational risk prevention protocols.

• Participate actively in the implementation of sustainability and energy efficiency practices.

• Contribute to preventive maintenance that extends the useful life of equipment and facilities, optimizing resources and reducing consumption.

• Know and apply the operations manual and the standards of Hotel Barrio Terreno.

• Ensure compliance with schedules, internal rules, and assigned tasks.
