Boilermaking Section Manager

At ySondos we are looking for a Boilermaking Manager to join a workshop located in Gijón directly.

• Direct hiring by the company with a permanent contract.

• Salary to be negotiated directly with the company. If your experience and what you can contribute are worth it, they will pay for it.

• SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday, split shift. Fridays and during the months of July and August, intensive working day from 8:00 to 15:00 h.

• Join a workshop in a continuous process of improvement, where you will be able to see progress and participate actively in it.

• A work environment where the goal is to have people who contribute experience, judgment, and initiative.

You will be the person responsible for running the boilermaking section, coordinating the team and ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Among your main functions will be:

• You will organize and supervise the daily work of the boilermaking section.

• You will coordinate and manage the team, distributing tasks according to production priorities and needs.

• You will plan the work and monitor timings.

• You will manage the materials and resources necessary for each job.

• You will supervise the correct execution of the work and resolve any incidents that may arise.

• You will coordinate with the rest of the workshop areas to guarantee the smooth running of production.

• You will detect needs and opportunities for improvement within the section.

• You will propose and drive improvements related to processes, organization, timing, and resources.

We are looking for a workshop person. Someone who truly knows boilermaking, who has been close to production and has the judgment to make day-to-day decisions.

What we need you to bring:

• Extensive experience in boilermaking and in similar responsibility positions.

• Experience managing work teams.

• Ability to organize people, materials, and time.

• Knowledge of different boilermaking tasks, especially structural work.

• Ability to solve problems and anticipate possible incidents.
