Job description
H10 Hotels needs to hire a Cook to work at our hotel H10 Playa Esmeralda, in Fuerteventura.
The functions to be carried out will be:
- Carry out in a qualified, autonomous, and responsible manner the preparation, seasoning, and presentation of dishes
- Collaborate on orders and the preservation of raw materials and products used in the Kitchen
- Prepare, cook, and present culinary products
- Collaborate on the setup, service, and dismantling of buffets
- Check and control the materials used in the kitchen, reporting any incidents
- Control and ensure the preservation and use of products placed at their disposal
- Prepare food for banquet service, as per notification received
- Decorate the presentation of food at buffets, in coordination with the executive chef
- Request raw materials from the warehouse, with prior authorization from the chef
- At the end of the service, carry out the corresponding cleaning of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment
- Complete APPCC (HACCP) and Quality records
- Collaborate on the planning of menus and wine lists
- Collaborate on managing costs and inventories, as well as on purchasing
- Apply inventory rotation techniques
