Finance & Accounting Intern

• Currently studying Higher Vocational Training (FP) in Administration and Finance, a Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, Accounting and Finance, or similar, with the possibility of signing an internship agreement with the educational center.
• Basic accounting knowledge: purchasing and sales cycles, VAT, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Excel at an advanced user level (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• An orderly, meticulous person with attention to detail: a large part of the work consists of reconciling data and detecting discrepancies.
• Autonomy and the ability to follow defined procedures, as well as to ask for help when something does not add up.

We are currently looking for an Intern for our Finance and Accounting Department, who wants to develop themselves in a dynamic environment and join us in our stage of international growth and expansion. You will be part of a close-knit team, working on the day-to-day accounting and finance of the company and collaborating with different departments.

We are looking for an organized, analytical person with attention to detail, eager to learn and acquire practical experience in a professional environment. You will have the opportunity to get to know processes such as invoice management and accounting, bank reconciliations, control of collections and outstanding accounts, as well as participating in the improvement and digitalization of financial processes.

• Accounting for supplier invoices in the ERP, ensuring the correct allocation of company, cost center, and VAT treatment.
• Management and control of outstanding invoices in coordination with other departments, including direct retrieval from supplier websites and portals.
• Support for OCR implementation: validating data extracted by the system, correcting discrepancies, and identifying documents that require manual review.
• Control of collections and monitoring of outstanding accounts receivable (AR).
• Support in the preparation of documentation requested by clients.
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Support to the accounting team in administrative tasks and filing of mail and documentation.
