Rooms Controller

What would we like you to bring to us?

- Proficiency in Spanish and English, both oral and written.
- Previous experience in hotel Reception or a similar position, with autonomy in arrival and departure operations, room assignment, and request management.
- Studies related to Tourism or Hospitality.
- Knowledge of Front Office processes and room inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email. Knowledge of Opera Cloud will be especially valued.
- Attention to detail, empathy, and orientation toward the guest experience.
- Ability to work autonomously, organize and prioritize tasks, anticipate needs, and follow up on pending matters.
- Proactive personality, with initiative, judgment, and a positive attitude to propose solutions and improvements.
- Communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration between Reception, Quality, and other departments.

Your mission
We are looking for a Rooms Controller to join our team. Get "coolturized" with us, and participate in our unique Sarao, in the heart of Madrid. If you are passionate about offering unique experiences, this is your place.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

- Plan and optimize room inventory and assignment, anticipating needs and proposing solutions to facilitate daily operations.
- Act as the main liaison between Reception and Quality, coordinating preparation priorities and room follow-up.
- Follow up on arrivals, departures, rooms pending delivery, and incidents that may affect availability.
- Coordinate operational requirements for groups, visits, and showrooms with the involved departments.
- Support Reception from the back office with administrative and operational tasks that require continuity and follow-up.
- Collaborate with management in improving processes and department organization, ensuring clear communication and continuity of management.
- Provide occasional support in Reception during exceptional operational needs.
