What we're looking for

  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in hospitality refurbishment, CAPEX management, design coordination, or hotel project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and operational environments.
  • Fluent English required; knowledge of Greek and/or Spanish is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across hotel properties.

The role

The Recurring CAPEX Design Manager at Sani/Ikos Group plays a pivotal role in coordinating recurring capital expenditure initiatives across our prestigious hospitality portfolio. Reporting to the Design & Technical Director and operating within the Design department, this position ensures refurbishment and asset improvement projects align seamlessly with our brand standards, operational needs, guest experience expectations, and approved design intent.

As the key coordination link between Design, Delivery, Operations, Procurement, and hotel property teams, the Recurring CAPEX Manager supports the identification, planning, and execution of recurring CAPEX projects across Front of House, Back of House, guestrooms, public areas, wellness, F\&B, and technical infrastructure. This role also represents the Design department onsite, ensuring all works meet the highest quality standards across our hotel portfolio.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate recurring CAPEX initiatives across all hospitality assets, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational functionality.
  • Support CAPEX planning and asset assessment activities, coordinating multidisciplinary design inputs and technical requirements.
  • Act as the main Design department liaison with hotel General Managers and operational teams, facilitating collaboration with Delivery, Procurement, Facilities Management, and Operations.
  • Oversee design implementation and site supervision, participating in site visits, inspections, and mock-up reviews.
  • Ensure material, finish, FF\&E replacements, and technical solutions comply with company standards and escalate deviations.
  • Assist in CAPEX budget tracking, cost-efficiency reviews, and evaluate alternative refurbishment solutions.
  • Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
