Project Manager

Important company in the recycling sector needs to hire a Project Manager to drive the development of a new recycling business line, including the construction of a new recycling plant in Castilla y León.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the main duties will be:

• Planning, controlling, and monitoring the project's schedule and budget, identifying potential deviations from the initial plan, and establishing corrective action plans to ensure compliance with the timeline.
• Documentary and administrative/financial control of the project.
• Analysis of the regulations applicable to battery recycling activity, their updates, and their impact on both the business and the process.
• Market research on batteries, identifying the most relevant players and analyzing collaboration opportunities with them. Defining the commercial strategy framework for waste intake and the output of by-products resulting from the recycling process.
• Identifying project risks and opportunities, planning actions to mitigate the former and promote the latter.
• Supporting the Engineering Department to ensure the technical solution is fully adapted to the identified business need.
• Supporting all necessary bureaucratic procedures for project progress, both within the organization and externally with different public administrations and suppliers. Applying for, coordinating, and monitoring grants.
• Preparing periodic project monitoring reports for shareholders.
• Representing the company, along with the General Manager, in forums, associations, events, and before different stakeholders.
