What we're looking for
- Experience in transformation, automation, or process evolution projects within the insurance sector.
- Demonstrable experience of at least 1-3 years working with BPM (Business Process Management) technological platforms, such as webMethods, Appian, Bizagi, Bonita, IBM Business Automation Workflow, Camunda, or equivalents.
- Advanced functional knowledge of BPM engines and their application in the execution, automation, and orchestration of business processes.
- Hands-on experience in functional configuration, parameterization, and evolution of BPM solutions, including workflows, business rules, task assignment, and workbenches.
- Ability to define functional requirements and collaborate with technical teams in the implementation and evolution of BPM platforms.
- Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and understanding of the relationship between process modeling and its execution in BPM engines.
- Autonomy, analytical capacity, and experience in direct communication with business and technology managers.
- Availability for immediate or very short-term start.
Nice to have
- Specific experience in webMethods or corporate BPM platforms developed on this technology.
- Knowledge of insurance processes: claims, underwriting, issuance, operations, customer service, or policy management.
- Experience in integrating BPM platforms with corporate applications, services, and APIs.

The role
At Inetum, within our Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) practice, we are looking to hire a Senior BPM Functional Consultant, with experience in business process management and automation platforms, to participate in a strategic digital transformation project for a leading company in the insurance sector. We are looking for a profile that combines functional knowledge of BPM engines, experience in technological environments, and a business process vision, capable of contributing to the evolution of corporate process management and automation platforms.
The position offers the opportunity to participate in process transformation initiatives, automation, and the progressive incorporation of artificial intelligence capabilities.
What you'll do
- Analyze and functionally evolve corporate BPM platforms.
- Define functional requirements for the configuration, parameterization, and improvement of BPM engines.
- Analyze workflows, business rules, task assignment, and interaction between users and systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate operational needs into BPM solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Participate in initiatives to modernize BPM platforms and integrate new technological capabilities, including artificial intelligence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and their alignment with insurance business needs.
We are specifically looking for a profile that combines
- Hands-on experience in BPM technological platforms (Appian, webMethods, Bizagi, Camunda, IBM BAW, or equivalents), with functional knowledge of process engines, workflows, parameterization, and automation.
- Professional experience in the insurance sector, with knowledge of its business processes.
- Availability for immediate or very short-term start.
We are not looking for profiles specialized exclusively in process analysis, design, or diagramming (BPMN, ARIS, Visio), without hands-on experience in BPM platforms.
