Physical-Chemical Quality Control Analyst

Sample and analyze, using different analytical techniques (GC, HPLC, TLC, KF), APIs, intermediate samples, or final samples, completing the work reports for each product and performing verifications of HPLC, GC, KF, and Analytical Balances; GMPs in accordance with the Standards, the guidelines of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding the weekly cleaning of the work area and the supervisor; in order to ensure the good quality (compliance with specifications) of the different products, ensure the proper functioning of the equipment, and facilitate decision-making by supervisors. All this while taking into account the safety regulations indicated by the company and the use of the personal protective equipment provided based on the risks of each operation.

• Analyze, using different analytical techniques (GC, HPLC, TLC, KF), API, intermediate, or final samples to ensure the good quality (compliance with specifications) of the different products.
• Complete the analytical documentation for each product to comply with GMP standards
• Perform the verification of HPLC, GC, KF, analytical balances, and other laboratory equipment to confirm their proper functioning.
• Store and control chemical reagents in stock, following established standards to ensure order and location.
• Maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment.
• Take intermediate or final production and cleaning samples.
• Take samples for the microbiological analysis of water, air, and the surfaces of the facilities and manufacturing equipment.
• Follow approved analytical methods and current SOPs.

We are selecting a Quality Control Analyst for our physical-chemical laboratory at our pharmaceutical plant located in Azuqueca de Henares with a permanent contract.

. Education: Vocational Training (FP) Level II in Chemistry or similar university education

. Languages: English will be valued

. Experience (years/area): at least 1-2 years of experience in the functions mentioned above. Experience in HPLC, analysis, and physical-chemical techniques

. Availability to work in rotating shifts as well as to commute to our plant in Azuqueca de Henares
