Maintenance Technician for General Services and Water Treatment Plant

Position: Industrial Water Treatment Plant Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Pharmaceutical Plant

Location: Azuqueca de Henares

We are incorporating a new INSUDER as a General Services Mechanical Maintenance Technician for water treatment plants to join the maintenance team at our plant in Azuqueca de Henares.

The challenge!

• Manage the daily operations of the industrial water treatment plant.
• Processing incidents and interventions with material and equipment suppliers.
• Perform format changes on machines that require it so they can produce according to the guidelines provided by production.
• Fix both electrical and mechanical breakdowns that the machines require for their correct operation.
• Perform the adjustments required on facility and production machines (if the product or the machine varies/is altered) to adapt it to correct manufacturing.
• Check the operation after something has been repaired, a format change has occurred, or a specific incident has happened (that is not a continuous problem) so that the machine follows the process.
• Perform changes to the machines (creating new parts, or including some) to correct defects to help with better machine operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines (filter cleaning or greasing) according to the production schedule for the correct operation of the machine in the production process.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Apply building and facility maintenance methods, practices, and techniques to identify and solve recurring problems in machines, equipment, or parts thereof.
• Perform periodic inspections to evaluate repair requests.

• Education: Higher Degree in mechanics, automation, or similar
• Experience (years/area): at least 3 years of experience in corrective and preventive maintenance in an industrial environment. Previous experience with water treatment plants or water treatment systems.
• Personal skills: good organizational and problem-solving capacity, teamwork, initiative, and decision-making.
• Technical skills: ability to work in a regulated environment. Knowledge of water systems
