Requirements

What we're looking for

Solid experience in backend development with Java 21 or higher.
Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Data.
Demonstrable experience in
- Hexagonal Architecture.
- Microservices architectures.
Experience in API design under an API First approach using OpenAPI / Swagger.
Advanced knowledge of
- Design patterns.
- SOLID principles.
- Clean Code.
- Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Spec Driven Development ( SDD)
Proven experience with
- Apache Kafka.
- ActiveMQ or other messaging platforms.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures and queue management, partitioning, consumption, and retry strategies.
Experience with databases
- Relational (MariaDB or others).
- NoSQL (MongoDB).
Ability to optimize queries, perform tuning, design indexes, and model data efficiently.
Experience working with
- OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
- CI/CD.
- GitHub.
- Spinnaker.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Grafana.
- Dynatrace.
Use of code quality tools such as SonarQube.
Extensive experience in testing
- Unit tests.
- Integration tests.
- Testing in microservices architectures.
- JUnit and Mockito.
Ability to collaborate with frontend teams, with experience or knowledge of React and backend-frontend integration.
Experience with AI at a development level in production environments.

Nice to have

Valuable experience in E2E testing with tools such as Cypress.

The role

What you'll do

Define and evolve the architecture of backend solutions.
Technically lead the team and act as a technological reference.
Design solutions based on microservices architectures and event-oriented architectures.
Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
Actively participate in the functional definition of initiatives and products.
Guarantee code quality, maintainability, and the application of development best practices.
Drive the adoption of methodologies, standards, and development processes.
Promote the use of Artificial Intelligence throughout the entire product lifecycle, from definition to deployment and operation.
Define continuous integration, continuous deployment, and observability strategies.
Accompany and mentor the team in technical and methodological aspects.
Prioritize technical initiatives and manage dependencies between teams.
Work in contexts with high uncertainty, participating in the construction of solutions from scratch.
Foster continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.

How you'll work

✅ Working hours: 8:30 to 18:00 (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00 to 15:00 on Fridays, with an intensive summer schedule from July to August from 8:00 to 15:00.
