Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, or air transport.
• Solid knowledge of Air Logistics operations, international transport, and supply chain.
• Experience in operational shipment management and incident resolution in logistics environments.
• Ability to coordinate multiple operations simultaneously in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.
• Organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Analytical capacity and attention to detail to guarantee the quality of operational execution.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders.
• Knowledge of logistics and transport operating tools and systems.
• High level of English, both oral and written.

The Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist is responsible for ensuring the correct operational execution of Air Logistics shipments, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and Kuehne+Nagel's internal procedures.

As part of the Operational Care team, they act as a coordination point between the different stakeholders involved in the logistics chain, including Operational Care Centers (OCC), Global Services (GS), suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. Their mission is to ensure efficient management of air transport operations, supervising shipments from end to end, identifying and resolving incidents proactively, and guaranteeing the integrity of operational information in the systems.

Likewise, they are responsible for managing operational exceptions, coordinating corrective actions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, supporting the achievement of quality, productivity, and profitability objectives for the Air Logistics business.

• Ensure the correct operational execution of air transport shipments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate shipments throughout their entire operational cycle, identifying and managing potential incidents proactively.
• Coordinate with Operational Care Centers (OCC), Global Services (GS), carriers, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure operational continuity.
• Manage operational exceptions and lead their resolution, minimizing the impact on service and agreed deadlines.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of the information recorded in the operational systems.
• Monitor operational indicators and contribute to the identification of improvement opportunities in processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and customer-facing roles to ensure correct execution of the commitments made to customers.
• Contribute to the control of operational costs and the achievement of productivity and profitability objectives.
