About the role

One of our clients located in Mallorca, in the process of expanding in the field of computer software development, is looking for a proactive person open to working with new technologies, contributing knowledge and experience to a highly qualified team with experience in the area of Systems and Telecommunications.

The selected person will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure team. What you'll do

Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Lead, coordinate, and develop the Systems and Telecommunications team.
  • Organize area planning, set priorities, and ensure the achievement of objectives.

  • Coordinate communication with other technical and business areas.

Infrastructure and operations

  • Ensure the availability, stability, and evolution of the technological infrastructure.
  • Oversee the maintenance of servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and data centers.
  • Ensure proper administration of Linux, Windows, and Windows Server environments.
  • Oversee backup management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of infrastructure monitoring and observability.

Security and compliance

  • Define and oversee information security policies.
  • Promote system hardening and adherence to best practices.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and proper management of technological risks.
  • Lead response to critical incidents and crisis situations.

Requirements

  • Computer Engineering (Systems specialty or equivalent) or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • 6-7 years of experience leading teams, ideally of 5+ people.
